Graduation is a time to celebrate what you have accomplished.
However, graduation is not automatic. To graduate, all students (undergraduate, graduate, and medical) must apply online or at Registrar Services, Chubb Hall. The application must be submitted no later than the published graduation deadline for the term in which graduation is planned.
There is an application fee for graduation. For more information, visit www.ohio.edu/registrar. Click on “Apply for Graduation” under Online Services for Students.
Students must apply for graduation and pay the graduation fee no later than the date published for the semester they wish to graduate.
Students may graduate at the end of any term. In 2015, there will be a Commencement ceremony at the conclusion of fall semester, in addition to the Commencement ceremony offered at the end of spring semester. There is not a Commencement ceremony for students graduating at the conclusion of summer semester, but these students can opt to participate in the ceremony at the end of fall semester.
If you wish to participate in Commencement, you need to order your cap and gown and let the Commencement office know you plan to walk. You can find the information at www.ohio.edu/commencement.
Individuals may participate in the Commencement ceremony if they will be completing courses during the summer immediately following the spring ceremony.
