Graduation is a time to celebrate what you have accomplished.

However, graduation is not automatic. To graduate, all students (undergraduate, graduate, and medical) must apply online or at Registrar Services, Chubb Hall. The application must be submitted no later than the published graduation deadline for the term in which graduation is planned.

There is an application fee for graduation. For more information, visit www.ohio.edu/registrar. Click on “Apply for Graduation” under Online Services for Students.

Students must apply for graduation and pay the graduation fee no later than the date published for the semester they wish to graduate.

Students may graduate at the end of any term, but there is only one graduation ceremony per year at the conclusion of spring semester. If you wish to walk in Commencement, you need to order your cap and gown and let the Commencement office know you plan to walk. You can find the information at www.ohio.edu/commencement.

Individuals may participate in the Commencement ceremony if they will be completing courses during the summer immediately following the spring ceremony.
