Immigration attorney to visit campus, talk with students, faculty and staff on Sept. 27

Immigration attorney Ken Robinson will visit Ohio University on Wednesday, Sept. 27, to talk with students who have questions or concerns about immigration regulations and their effects in the U.S. Faculty and staff who support Ohio University's international students are welcome to attend.

Students with questions or concerns about the federal government’s announcements about changes to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program are also encouraged to attend this free event.

Robinson, who is from the firm of Slowik and Robinson, LLC, in Columbus, will take part in a Lunch and Learn event from noon to 1 p.m. in the Friends of the Library Room on the third floor of Alden Library.

Robinson, who is an expert on business and family immigration issues, gave a presentation on “Navigating the Current Immigration Environment” in March 2017 at Ohio University.

The Wednesday, Sept. 27, Lunch and Learn event is sponsored by International Student and Faculty Services and the Office of Global Affairs.
