The Global Professional Development Series is part of the Center for International Studies’ response to the growing needs of students seeking to lead global careers.

The program, which is suited for students from all disciplines and backgrounds, offers professional development seminars, workshops and alumni forums that will offer timely and valuable tips and tools that will help them succeed in their careers.

Spring 2019 for the Global Professional Development Series

Friday, Oct. 6 Keynote Address and Panel - Homecoming Week

On October 6, 2017, Ohio University welcomed alumnus David Crane back to campus to serve as the Keynote Speaker for a Global Professional Development Series Homecoming Week event. An alumni panel featuring Bethany George, Judi Crane and Omar Kurdi was also part of this special event.

Thursday, Nov. 17 Keynote Address and Panel - International Education Week

On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Global Professional Development Series welcomed Center for International Studies Alumni Patrick Murphy, Lance Healy, Maura Fulton and Anastasia Karpoukhina back to campus to take part in the "Getting A Job: The Global Professional in Today's World," special event. Murphy served as the Keynote Speaker for the afternoon.
