Center for Entrepreneurship
The Center for Entrepreneurship at Ohio University launches a new era of entrepreneurial education and support, University-based technology commercialization and regionally-focused business development in Southeast Ohio. A partnership between the College of Business and Voinovich School of Public Affairs, the Center builds upon longstanding efforts at the University and throughout the region to provide entrepreneurial education, business assistance and investment capital for entrepreneurs and businesses. The Center supports a culture of entrepreneurship throughout the University and region and provides access to entrepreneurial resource networks to help businesses get started and grow. Entrepreneurship Certificate
Beginning in the fall of 2012 (pending university approval), students from any college, discipline or major will be able to earn a Certificate in Entrepreneurship by taking a combination of courses offered by the Center through the College of Business, the Voinovich School and other participating colleges. Get involved on campus through entrepreneurial student clubs, guest lecture series events and Idea Pitch competitions!
Imagine the possibilities: earn your major, earn your minor and graduate with real-world experience and perhaps even start your own company!
