Assistant secretary for fossil energy to address challenges of coal

United States Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy James Markowsky will be keynoting a two-day conference on advanced energy Oct. 18-19 at Ohio University’s Walter Hall.

The event, titled “Advanced Energy – Investing in our Future,” aims to accelerate commercialization for local businesses in the advanced energy field and provide opportunities to network with venture capitalists looking for potential investments.

The conference is hosted by TechGROWTH Ohio, a resource for technologically-innovative companies in the Athens area.
