Ohio student makes national contribution to Nonprofit Board Governance

In her second year as a Master of Public Administration candidate at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, Renee Steffen successfully managed the production of an extensive training video project that will fundamentally change the nation’s approach to serving on nonprofit boards.
A project under the Regional Nonprofit Alliance, the DVD illustrates a comprehensive approach to educating nonprofit board members on the responsibilities of board governance. The first instructional video of its kind, the video finds a balance between personal and education, providing a wealth of knowledge in interviews with experienced, local nonprofit board members and detailed training information.
