In April 2006, the Scripps Howard Foundation announced a $15 million gift to the College of Communication at Ohio University to support a wide variety of College of Communication programs and initiatives involving diversity, technology, teaching fellowships, scholarships, internships, visiting professional residencies and more. As a result of the historic gift, the college was renamed the Scripps College of Communication. Each year, we celebrate the partnership with an annual Scripps Day event.
The eighth annual Scripps Day took place on the campus of Ohio University on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013. More information on the day can be found at http://www.ohio.edu/compass/stories/13-14/10/scripps-day-2013.cfm.
