Lancaster Campus

Welcome to the Ohio University Lancaster Campus. Ohio University Lancaster offers the academic foundation of a request more infouniversity education, the convenience of a small campus setting, the affordability of state-assisted tuition, and relevant education for today's competitive job market. We also provide convenience throughout Fairfield County by offering students the option to attend classes on the Lancaster Campus or Pickerington Center. Situated on 113 acres on the northern edge of Lancaster, the campus serves students from throughout central Ohio. A variety of associate's and bachelor's degree programs can be completed on the Lancaster Campus. Ohio University also offers more than 250 majors, which you can begin in Lancaster or Pickerington and finish in Athens, at another regional campus or online.


Lisa Skeens

Assistant Professor of Social Work Lisa Skeens is presenting at the National Youth at Risk Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The topic is "Utilizing Guided Imagery with At Risk Youth." The conference focuses on the physical/mental health and academic needs of at - risk youth.

Paul Young

Dr. Paul Young, lecturer of music and education classes, will present a leadership workshop for the National AfterSchool Association in Washington D.C. Dr. Young retired as the NAA President & CEO in 2012. His presentation title “Got Grit? Ingredients for Student Success” is geared to both school and afterschool program leaders and will reflect material from his latest book, Lead the Way! 24 Lessons in Leadership for After School Program Directors published by Gryphon House.

Josiah Roberts (2)

Josiah Roberts is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for February. Josiah is a Graphic Design major. He is a recipient of the Freshman Excellence Scholarship.  Josiah also filmed videos for Prevention Works for a Drug Free Fairfield County and teaches young adult class at his church.

Michael Ashton

Welcome Michael Ashton!  Ashton recently accepted the position of Lecturer of Human Services Technology.  Ashton received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University.  He is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with the State of Ohio. Ashton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our campus from his previous positions at New Horizons Mental Health Center and The Recovery Center. 


Middle Childhood Education Associate Professor Kaye Martin is attending the Association of Teacher Educators Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ. She is making two presentations at the conference.

Taylor Ashley

Taylor Ashley is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for February. Taylor is a Middle Childhood Education major. She is a member of the Ohio Student Education Association and a member of the Intergenerational Mentoring Program. Taylor volunteers at Fairfield Christian Academy and Tallmadge Elementary.
