
T. David Curp is an assistant professor in the Department of History at Ohio University. He teaches courses in contemporary European history, with an emphasis on Eastern Europe and the Balkans. He has a B.A. in Russian language and literature from Boston University, an MA in history from Ohio University and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington.

He is completing a book entitled, A Clean Sweep: The Politics of Ethnic Cleansing in Western Poland, 1945-1960. He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the International Research and Exchange Board and the Baker Fund of Ohio University. Dr. Curp is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies as well as the Polish Studies Association.
