I graduated with a degree in social work and now I'm planning on attending
nursing school this coming fall.
The GLC has given me leadership experience that will continue to be an
important distinguishing factor on my resume.
The various cultural experiences are invaluable because as a nurse/social
worker I will frequently be working with clients/patients from diverse cultures.
Following graduation from nursing school, I would like to travel abroad to
practice.
Although I have not been in touch with other GLC members about jobs, I know
that there is a great network available to me should I need such contacts.
Overall, I feel that the GLC has helped me to mature into a confident, open-
minded student and individual.
