Currently, I am an editor at Loyola Press in Chicago. I am editor of one of their new teacher's edition textbooks in their next line of textbooks due for publication in 2005. We expect this new line to shatter the Catholic education publishing field. It is completely new and unlike anything weor our competitors have ever done. If you haven't guessed yet, Loyola Press is a small non-profit publisher of Catholic education texts, English language texts, and spirituality trade books. We are growing by leaps and bounds and have tripled our size in the last 5 years or so. But I have only been here for a year. I love Chicago and feel really lucky to have found a job in my field ofchoice (book publishing). I've made many new friends and still hang out with some old buddies from OU who live here now, including Mr. Jeremy Neuhart who has been a great friend to me. We are always each other's dates for the symphony and the opera because we are both patrons and no one else our age wants to go! I plan to be in Chicago for at least another year or so, depending on where I go to graduate school. (I will be applying to start the fall of 2004)
