I am currently an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in New York. I only started last week, so I'm not sure how Management Consulting will treat me, but I have high hopes. I certainly couldn't have gotten this far without the help of the GLC. Between learning to work in teams and the importance of effective feedback, I have felt well prepared for my life in the business world.
Prior to joining Booz Allen Hamilton, I received my MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. The same themes seemed to pop up in the MBA curriculum as they did in the GLC. Teamwork, focus and determination were key to my success in both arenas.
Before business school I worked at McCann-Erickson within their Direct Marketing department in New York. Among my responsibilities I supervised the forecasting and financial result submission for ten offices in eight countries. For my first job out of Ohio University, I worked in bankruptcy consulting for FTI Consulting. My client highlights include K-mart and Adelphia Cable. In addition, I helped to establish the first European FTI office in London, where I lived and worked for six months.
