Currently, I'm living in Memphis, TN with my husband and 2 dogs working as a Product Development Specialist for a company called Inventory Locator Service. It's a web-based business that operates similar to eBay. We bring together buyers and suppliers from the Aviation, Government, and Marine industries, so they can buy or sell parts in a secure and effective manner.
My job is to create, design, and aid in developing new products for our customers that enable them to locate and/or list parts while still providing a friendly user interface.
The first thing my boss brought up in my interview were my experiences with the GLC. She was amazed and impressed that someone at such a young age had this type of experience. In fact, there was actually a person who was more qualified that I was competing with for the position. However, my boss was so impressed with my GLC experiences, that she offered me the job. If you want to put yourself ahead of your competition, the GLC is definitely one of the best programs you can be a part of.
