- After graduating from OU in the fall of '07, I landed a job as a REC trader with a renewable energy company out of Atlanta called Sterling Planet. They are an environmental commodities company focused on providing financial assistance to all forms of renewable energy through the purchase and sale of renewable energy certificates (RECs). I work directly with generators on the supply-side of the market in negotiating REC purchases.
- It started as an internship and quickly evolved into a solid job that's proved to be a great learning experience.

- Without the GLC, its easy to say I never would have landed here. It was one of the first things they noticed about my resume and one of the main things that kept me afloat during my first few months here. The skills I learned through the program have been invaluable to me. The GLC taught me how to thrive in uncertain circumstances, emboldened confidence in my capabilities, and showed me the value in working with others as a team. Since these are things I have to rely upon daily at my job, I can't thank the GLC enough.
