CS Students Place 8th In Regional Programming Competition, Best In State

A team of three computer science students from Ohio University placed 8th at the 2005 East Central North America Regional Programming Contest. One hundred and thirteen teams from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and parts of Canada competed in the 5 hour long programming contest. The top seven teams were from the University of Waterloo (1 & 2), University of Toronto (3&4), Carnegie Mellon University (5), University of Michigan (6), and Purdue University (7). Other teams from Ohio placed in the top 25: Miami University(11), Ohio State University (16), Bowling Green (17), and Cedarville University (23, 25). The Ohio University team consisted of Chad Mourning, Slave Jovanovski, and Hiep Dinh.
