SUMMER BOBCAT STUDENT ORIENTATION

All students participating in the Summer Start Freshman Experience will attend a Summer Bobcat Student Orientation (BSO). If you are participating as an on campus student, you MUST attend the BSO on Friday, June 28 where both students and parents have the opportunity to meet with other incoming freshmen and parents. During the day-long event, students will meet with an advisor, learn about the Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS), attend several information sessions, receive advising, and register for classes. While parents are not required to come, it is recommended that they take advantage of the orientation and the information that is presented.

If you will be participating as an on campus student, you are required to attend the Friday, June 28 orientation session. It lays the grouwork for all students to begin their college careers.

If you are participating as an online student, you MAY attend the June 28 BSO, but you MUST also sign up for a 1.5 day BSO with many session dates between July 15-August 3. (If you choose to attend both, you will only be charged once.)
