Jeanne Vilberg works remotely from Pennsylvania to help develop eLearning Ohio’s online courses and resources.

Jeanne Vilberg works at Ohio University as a Senior Learning Designer. However, she does this work from Western Pennsylvania, putting a new spin on “distance learning.” Vilberg works with faculty and members of the learning design team to develop new online courses for academic programs delivered completely online. She also develops professional development resources to support faculty teaching online.

For the past five years, in her spare time, Vilberg has been working on an evaluation project for a major initiative in Pennsylvania to integrate technology in school classrooms. This provides not only technology but also key professional development for teachers to successfully implement change in schools.

Vilberg has always been interested in learning, design, technology and communication, making her a natural at her job. She has previously worked for PBS, Penn State University and Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
