NOTE: Applicants must apply to Ohio University within university-specified dates. The Cutler Scholars nomination process and the admissions process are two separate processes. Materials submitted for consideration by the Cutler Scholars program(ACT/SAT scores, transcripts, etc.) are not submitted to the Admissions Office.
Geographically-based Awards
| March-April: | Nomination materials mailed to eligible high schools (all nominees must be in their junior year of high school)

| June 1: | Deadline for returning completed nominations to Cutler Scholars office
|
| June 2-August 30: | Pre-screening of nominations by Cutler Scholars staff; copy of nomination files distributed to Area Review Committees
|
| September: | Area Review Committees meet to select finalists for awards
|
| October-November: | Finalists interviewed on the Athens campus (with the exception of the Gusterov-Cutler Scholars Award)
|
| November 30: | Scholarship recipients notified of awards
|
Discipline-based Awards (nominees will be in their senior year of high school)
| August 15-October 31: | Nominees apply to Ohio University for admission
|
| January-March: | Meetings of College Review Committees to select semifinalists and finalists; distribution of nomination materials to high schools of semi-finalists
|
| March-April: | Interviews of finalists on Athens campus
|
| April 30: | Notification of award recipients
|
Organization-based Awards (nominees will be in their junior year of high school)
| November (of junior year): | Deadline for requesting nomination materials from Ohio University
