Becoming a Nominee
Individual students cannot apply for the Cutler Scholars Program; potential scholars must be nominated by personnel at eligible secondary schools, by colleges of Ohio University, or by an organization with which they have a connection (e.g., an organization for which their parents work).
Students selected for the program are evaluated against rigorous standards and must excel both inside and outside the classroom. In addition to an excellent scholastic record, a student also must show evidence of personal integrity, a breadth of involvement and achievement, and physical stamina, as well as the demonstrated ability to lead and encourage others.

2012-2013 Cutler Scholar Awards Nomination Forms
Nomination forms will only be accepted from students nominated by high schools or academic colleges where awards are being filled for the 2012-2013 academic year.
All nomination materials must be downloaded from this web site. No packets or materials will be mailed directly to scholarship nominees. Nominees must collect all nomination materials (including references) and submit only completed packets to the Cutler Scholars office. Please read the instructions below for completing the nomination packet carefully.
The deadline for submitting nomination forms is February 22. All materials should be mailed to: Manasseh Cutler Scholars Program, Ohio University, Trisolini House, Athens, OH 45701. You may also drop completed application packets off at our office Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
