The Undergraduate Admissions Staff at OHIO is available to help match up VAAN members to activities and events that provide a meaningful contribution to the admissions process and best serve our potential students.  To locate the appropriate staff member that serves your geographic area, please visit our Admissions Staff web page.

Many of the fairs have registration deadlines and fees. However, if you are interested in covering the fair we can make contact with the organizer to ask about late registration. Confirmation of the fair along with the materials for the program will be sent to you prior to the program.

All volunteers must be trained before representing Ohio University at a college fair program.

Online chats are an opportunity for admitted students to “chat” electronically with current Ohio University students, admission advisors and alumni about academics and campus life. One of the biggest questions posed to current students and alumni is why they chose to attend Ohio University. This is an important time to communicate with admitted students since they may still be deciding which institution they will attend.

Participating in online chats is extremely easy. All you need is access to the internet and 1 to 2 hours of your time. Those volunteers willing to participate in a chat event should contact the appropriate territory representative for further assistance on how to log on and what to expect during the chat.
