The Ohio University Dance Division in the school of Dance, Film, and Theater presents “An Evening of John B.,” an alumni concert, at 1:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 in the Shirley Wimmer Dance Theatre, located in Putnam Hall at Ohio University. General admission is $10 per adult, $5 for under 18, and students are free with valid OHIO student ID, through support from Arts for OHIO.
“An Evening of John B.” is concert featuring recreations of works by Dance Division Lighting Designer/Technical Director John Bohuslawsky. The concert is part of the 50th Anniversary of Dance at Ohio University celebration, and will feature dance and video-dance works created between 2009 and 2016 performed by the alumni for which the works had been originally cast and developed.
Featured alumni include class of 2011 alumni Liz Dunlap, R. Eric Hill, Kathryn Bachinsky (Jankord), and Summer Logan (Ogg); class of 2013 alumni Kelsey Lynn Kaminski (Maiolo) and Mariah Gayhart (Berardelli); class of 2014 alumni Emily Bannister (Coan), Tori Cassagranda, Claire Phillips, and Danielle Evelena Doell; class of 2017 alumna Sydney Sanders; and current student Maya Holcomb.
