OHIO students, alumni participate in career, internship fair

On Sept. 22 and 23, Ohio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center hosted its Fall Career and Internship Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Baker University Center Ballroom. 

On the first day of the fair, 725 OHIO students and alumni representing all academic backgrounds came out to meet the 94 employers in attendance. On the second day, 717 students came to build professional connections with the 59 employers present. There were 33 industries represented on the first day and 44 on the second day including accounting services, human resources, education, environmental services, government, and non-profit and social services.  

On Sept. 24, 20 employers participated in interview day where career fair attendees who made a positive impression had the opportunity to interview for a position right away.  

Ohio University’s Career and Internship Fair is bi-annual and will return on Feb. 16.
