In this issue, you’ll meet “Louie the Bagel Man,” who in the late 1970s started the Athens buggy craze with a handmade bagel stand. But that’s not all: Louie also set up the city’s first recording studio and produced an “Athens Hometown Album” previously out of print and now available online!
You’ll also find links to the latest Soul of Athens online multimedia project, an award-winning collaborative effort of the schools of visual communication, journalism, and media arts and studies. And you’ll have a chance to see (and hear) the Marching 110 live…at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City!
