More than 400 Ohio University alumni and friends gathered Dec. 12 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown on the Magnificent Mile for a special alumni event developed by the Ohio University Alumni Association (OUAA) and co-hosted by the Chicago Regional The Promise Lives Campaign Committee.
Some 2,172 OHIO Alumni live in the city of Chicago. An unprecedented 8 percent of them came out this event — which wasn’t just any event in a hotel ballroom. Themed “A Night in Athens…in Chicago,” the OUAA took the opportunity to recreate the OHIO and Athens experience 429 miles from College Green. Take a look at some of the evening’s memorable moments.
