Bobcat Blackout football game features discount package for faculty and staff

The annual Bobcat Blackout game is back again as the Ohio University football team takes on the Bowling Green Falcons at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 in the final regular season home game.

Bobcat Blackout is hosted by the Ohio University Sports Administration Program and Ohio University Athletics, as an initiative to "blackout" Peden Stadium in front of a national television audience.

The football game will be featured on ESPN2. The blackout aims to increase awareness within the Ohio University and Athens. Communities create future fans and raise funds for the Sports Administration Program

OHIO faculty and staff can purchase their Bobcat Blackout promotional package for $12, which includes a commemorative long-sleeve T-shirt, a complementary round of golf at the Ohio University Golf and Tennis Center and a chance to win an authentic OHIO black football jersey.

To purchase a package, visit the Bobcat Blackout website or email BobcatBlackout@gmail.com. The package can be collected at the Nov. 7 football game or delivered to any department on campus.
