CoLab Makerspace

What is a Makerspace?

A Makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools.  These spaces are open to adolescents, adults, students, and entrepreneurs and have a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, cnc machines, soldering irons and even sewing machines with the end goal of building community and innovation through making.

CoLab’s mission is to enable and empower students to live and grow through creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through this, we hope to achieve a more connected and innovation-focused community that creates with the goal of changing the world. So, the creation of a dedicated space aimed at making was a no brainer.
