Mission Statement The mission of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is to: - Educate students in Industrial and Systems Engineering and to create and disseminate innovative methods in teaching, research, and service.
- Provide service to the community, Ohio University and the Russ College of Engineering and Technology via programmatic offerings, governance and outreach programs.
 The Industrial and Systems Engineering undergraduate program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc. ABET is the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology.
