Advisors
Every Ohio University student is assigned a faculty advisor from his or her major area. Students should meet with their assigned advisor at least once a quarter to discuss course scheudling and receive their registration access code. Advisors can also assist students with career planning and other related issues. ISE faculty members maintain individual relationships with their advisees to help each student select courses and activities best suited for the student’s personal interests and career goals.
To prepare for advising, students should review completed courses and any remaining requirements. Before the meeting, download and complete the three-quarter course plan form. The form also includes space for course alternatives - courses for which you have completed the prerequisites but plan to take later. This form is an important starting point for advising and becoming familiar with requirements.
