Financial assistance is awarded on a competitive basis. Each year, about three-fourths of the students in the environmental studies program receive financial aid in one of two forms:
Graduate stipends for teaching or research are awarded by the environmental studies program, participating departments, faculty research funds and the Institute for Local Government Administration and Rural Development. Students receiving a graduate stipend must perform teaching or research duties for the department offering the award. Graduate stipends also include a full tuition waiver.
Tuition scholarships cover all tuition costs except for the general fee. To be considered for financial aid, submit your application by January 1 of the academic year preceding admission. Financial Assistance at Ohio University
