Danielle selected Ohio University primarily to engage in the outstanding industrial and systems engineering program and to join the Cutler Scholars Program as a Stuckey Cutler Scholar. Specializing in healthcare systems, her goal is to improve access, equity, and efficiency in health systems using her ISE training. As a Bobcat she discovered opportunities to study abroad, investigate additional academic interests, and make lifelong friends.
In addition to being a Russ College Engineering Ambassador, Danielle is a member of the Presidential Leadership Society and Tau Beta Pi. After her first year, she served as a communications intern for the White Ribbon Alliance in Washington D.C. The next summer Danielle worked as a Russ College Orientation Leader welcoming in new Bobcats. During Summer 2021, she worked with Red Cross USA Training Services as a Process Development Intern.
While at OHIO, Danielle studied art in London, leadership in Cambodia, and primate eating habits in Uganda. She works on campus as a research assistant in a paleontology lab, as a Learning Community Leader, and as an Online Learning Navigator.
In her spare time, Danielle likes to hike, build woodworking projects, and ride her bike through Athens.
