BME faculty member speaks at cancer research fundraiser

Monica Burdick, a member of the biomedical engineering program faculty, was a guest speaker at an Ohio Cancer Research Associates fundraising dinner in St. Clairsville.
The subject of Burdick’s speech was “Identification of E-selection Ligands on Breast Cancer Cells.” She is an assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering.
Previously, Burdick was the featured speaker at the kickoff luncheon for the annual event. The dinner honored Ohio University alumni John and Rita Dutton of Capstone Holding Co. Inc. and Ohio River Collieries Co. for their work for OCRA.
