The work of Lonnie Welch and his Ohio University Bioinformatics Laboratory is featured in the Autumn-Winter issue of Ohio University's Perspectives magazine. The article, "The Big Dig," describes several of the collaborations involving Welch, including those with fellow biomedical engineering program faculty members Sarah Wyatt and John Kopchick. The Bioinformatics Lab helps scientists make sense of the exponentially growing amount of biomolecular data available.
