Ways to Get Involved
The best way to get involved in GSS is by applying for a GSS position. Applications are typically open in the Summer and close early in the Fall term. The remaining positions are then filled on a rolling basis.

- Attend GSS meetings and events (e.g., Grad Con)
- Participate in the Grad Research Series:
- The Graduate Research Series at Alden is a unique opportunity for OHIO graduate-professional students to present their research process to the university community.
- It gives graduate students the opportunity to share their research process and discoveries made along the way to completing a project. In addition, students also get a valuable chance to present in front of an audience and discuss the challenges and opportunities that come along with conducting the research. You can find out more information about the Research Series, including previous topics, at the library's website.
- Talk to your Department Representative or College Senator about ways to get involved
- Reach out to the current Executive Board (gss@ohio.edu)
