Why do you want to be an OHIO First Scholars Advocate?
I want to be an OHIO First Scholars Advocate because I want first-generation students to be successful and enjoy their time as Ohio University Bobcats. As a former student and a current employee, I can answer students’ questions, help students identify questions they should ask professors and university officials, address student concerns, or find campus resources which could make them the most successful students possible. Sometimes students just need someone to listen, and I can do that too.
