Ohio University will host family and friends Feb. 8-10 for Sibs Weekend.
Many events are planned. Here are some highlights:
• Sibs Bash
This event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 2p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ping Center. Activities will include a magician, face painting, airbrush tattoos, balloon animals, clowns, inflatables, games, food, a live snake show and picture opportunities.
• OHIO Hockey vs. Kent State Golden Flashes
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. in Bird Arena on Saturday, Feb. 9. Student tickets are $5 and all other tickets are $7. Children under 5 are free.
• OHIO Basketball vs. Bowling Green
Support the OHIO Bobcats at this MAC match-up against the Bowling Green Falcons on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
• 2013 Ohio University Polar Bear Plunge supporting Special Olympics Ohio
The Plunge will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m., at Lake Snowden in Albany, Ohio. There is a minimum donation of $50 required per plunger. Plungers will receive a T-shirt at the event and free wings at the BW3’s after party. Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian signed waiver form.
