Ohio Today spring issue available online and on campus

The spring 2024 issue of OHIO's alumni magazine is now available.

The spring 2024 issue of Ohio Today, Ohio University’s alumni magazine, is out and available to OHIO faculty and staff online at ohio.edu/ohio-today. A limited number of hard copies of the magazine are also available for pick-up at the following distribution points on each OHIO campus:

 

  • Athens Campus – Copies are available at the fourth-floor guest services desk at Baker University Center and in the second-floor vestibule of Alden Library.   
  • Chillicothe Campus – Copies are available in the Dean’s Office.  
  • Cleveland Campus – Copies are available in the Cleveland HCOM lobby.  
  • Dublin Campus – Copies are available in the Dean’s Suite (Suite 350) of Medical Education Building 1 and in the Dean’s Suite (Suite 230) of the Dublin Integrated Education Center.  
  • Eastern Campus – Copies are available in the Dean’s Office.  
  • Lancaster Campus – Copies are available in the Dean’s Office.  
  • Southern Campus – Copies are available in the Dean’s Office.  
  • Zanesville Campus – Copies are available outside the Dean’s Office and inside the suite of faculty offices.

  • The Power of Place – OHIO’s research programs and community partnerships provide opportunities for faculty, staff and the areas we serve.
  • From Athens to the ISS – This year, one group of students will send an experiment to space under the guidance of Dr. Sara Wyatt.
  • Knowledge, Wisdom & Love – Meet the winners of the Ohio University Alumni Association’s first Bobcat Bliss contest, plus a few other folks whose stories we loved.
  • Will Travel for Beer – Explore the Bobcat Brew Trail, a collection of nearly 30 alumni-owned breweries in Ohio
  • Lighting the Way for Those to Come – Five alumni share how they stay connected to the University; plus, we share results from the OUAA’s recent Alumni Attitude Survey.
  • Rock On, Athens – Reminiscing on more than 60 years of live music on campus through posters pulled from the archives.
  • Waste Not – The Sugar Bush Foundation supports local social enterprises, many with a focus on sustainable practices.
  • Where Innovation & Community Meet – Learn how the Straker Foundation’s transformative gift to Ohio University Zanesville will transform its nursing program.
  • Last Word – A Q&A with Lisa Flowers-Clements, the Multicultural Center’s new director
