The restricted access portion of our web site provides Ohio University faculty and staff access to certain types of data. Below is a listing of the types of data that can be accessed by logging on to our restricted site. In order to log on to the restricted site, you must know your User Name and Password used for accessing your OAK e-mail account. Click on the link below to sign on.
Daily Admissions and Enrollment Updates - President McDavis has asked for daily updates on admissions and enrollment information to be made available to better inform decision-making about recruiting and enrollment management. Tables on admissions statistics for new freshmen and transfer students show breakdowns by student characteristics (residency, college, major, race, etc.), county, and high school. Tables on preliminary enrollment show breakdowns by campus, college and major. These updates are intended for general monitoring and planning purposes and not for resource allocation decisions.
Bachelor Degree Graduates' Plan Survey - The Bachelor Degree Graduates' Plan Survey is designed to collect information on Ohio University bachelor's degree graduates at the time of applying for graduation. Originally implemented due to a reporting requirement for the Voluntary System Accountability, the one-time instrument was expanded for spring 2013 semester graduates at the request of the academic colleges. The Bachelor Degree Graduates' Plan Survey now contains items asking for graduate plans, salary, employer, and position information.
Ohio University Survey of Alumni - The Survey of Alumni is designed to collect information on Ohio University bachelor's degree graduates about five years after graduation. Summary tables containing results from the current and preceding six years of results are presented for the university as a whole, for each academic college, and for each department within its college. Accompanying each department table is a list of first and current position titles as reported by each respondent. Accompanying each college-wide table is a table of results from the college-specific questions in Part 3 of the questionnaire.
Ohio University Career & Further Education Study - The Career and Further Education Study is designed to collect information on Ohio University graduates about one year after graduation. Summary tables are presented containing results from the current and preceding six years of results for the university as a whole, for each academic college, and for each academic department within its college.  Most tables present results from undergraduate respondents, though graduate level results are presented for colleges and departments where appropriate. Accompanying each department table is a list of job titles and other information reported by each (anonymous) individual; results from both undergraduate and graduate level respondents are included. Accompanying each college-wide table is a table showing how the respondents' jobs fall within general job categories (based on U.S. Department of Commerce codes); results are shown college-wide and for each department in that college
Ohio University Survey of Student Veterans - The Survey of Student Veterans is designed to collect information on Ohio University student service members & veterans in order to identify their needs and challenges. Summary results of the survey are presented along with a copy of the questionnaire.
College Tracking Study - The college tracking study tracks students in and out of Ohio Universitys Athens Campus academic colleges over six years. There is a separate table for each college and a university-wide summary table. The college tables show the entering cohort number, the number continuing in the same college, the number changing majors to other colleges within Ohio University, the number changing majors to the college, the total number continuing at Ohio University, the number graduating from the college and other colleges, total cohort enrollment in the college, and the total not enrolled at Ohio University.
New First-Year & Transfer Student Profiles - These tables show characteristics of entering first-year undergraduate and transfer students over seven years. Separate first-year undergraduate tables are available for each academic college and for the entire class. Numbers of applicants and students admitted are shown. Numbers and percentages for enrolled students are given for gender, race/ethnicity, residency, and academic college. Summary statistics on high school percentile rank, ACT scores, and SAT scores are also included for first-year undergraduates. Tables are available for the Athens campus and the regional campuses.
First-Year Student Marketing Studies - Every two years a survey is conducted of students soon after they are admitted to the first-year class at Ohio University. Results from this survey are available in two reports. "The First-Year (Freshman) Marketing Study: Ten-Year Comparison" focuses on factors influencing the decisions to apply to and enroll at Ohio University. "The Image of Ohio University" summarizes students' perceptions of Ohio University and other competing institutions in Ohio.
2010 First-Year Student Satisfaction (Treatment) Study - The First-Year Student Satisfaction (Treatment) Study is a survey of Athens campus first-year students. It assesses student perceptions of treatment by University personnel, information, and services. Students rate how they feel they are treated by people, how they feel about the quality of information they receive, and how they feel about the quality of services they receive. University-wide and academic college breakdown results are available as well as results for various nonacademic units and functions.

It assesses student perceptions of faculty & staff treatment, information, and processes. Students rate how they feel they are treated by faculty and staff, how they feel about the information they receive, and how they feel about various processes they go through. University-wide and college breakdown results are available on academic advising and faculty for all academic colleges. Results are available for the following nonacademic units assessed in the study: Counseling Center; Career Services; Residence Life; Baker Center/Student Activities; Campus Recreation; Cashier; Student Health Center; Financial Aid; Housing; Registration; and Alden Library.

Performance Indicators - Provides quickly-accessible indicators on Ohio University's performance, demonstrated by easily-understood and reliable measures. Four categories are presented. Student entry indicators demonstrate selectivity and desirability. Process indicators demonstrate the quantity and quality of student experiences. Student outcomes indicators show the numbers of degrees granted and employment and continuing education rates following graduation. University resources shows information on staffing, productivity, finances, and external measures.
National Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity (The Delaware Study): Peer Analysis - The National Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity (The Delaware Study) allows universities to analyze teaching loads, instructional costs, and academic productivity. Data are reported and analyzed at the academic discipline level and are compared with different aggregations of colleges and universities. Each academic department/school was asked to select its own set of institutional peers from a list of participating institutions with a comparable discipline. The bar charts and tables show Ohio University's department/school data along with departmental peers, aggregated college peers, aggregated university-wide peers, and the "presidential" peer set of universities.
Faculty Load Reports - The Faculty Instructional Load reports show numbers of credit hours taught, weighted student credit hours (WSCH), sections, etc. for each instructor of record for the academic year. Excel pivot tables also show type of instructor along with college, department, course section, and instructor name. The pivot table is sorted by college, department, and instructor of record. Instructors who taught in multiple departments will show up in different departments. Athens courses are displayed in the pivot table, but all campuses are included in the data. By clicking on a particular cell, Excel will automatically drill down to that level of detail. Fall, winter, and spring data are included.
