IEEE to hold Student Professional Awareness Conference in March

Renowned engineers Amy Jankovsky, BSEE ’89, and Mike Medley, BSEE ’01, will visit campus to speak on their careers and the future of engineering on Wed., March 6, at 7 p.m. in Walter Hall Rotunda as part of the student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ SPAC Lectures.

Jankovsky, a research technologist and project manager for NASA will present on “Electrified Propulsion and Perspectives on a Career in Research and Development.” Medley, owner of his own patent firm, will present “Intellectual Property – A Brief Survey and Potential career Option.”

The event is free for students and $10 for faculty. Attire is business casual, and refreshments will be provided.
