All members of our campus community, along with family and friends, are invited to a Day of Remembrance Ceremony from 4:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at Emeriti Park to honor Ohio University faculty emeriti, faculty, staff and friends of OHIO who passed away this academic year.
 
“Each of these individuals committed their time and talents to Ohio University – some with over 30 years of service,” said President Nellis. “This new tradition will provide an annual forum where we can celebrate their lives and pay tribute to their contributions to this special place.”
 
The brief ceremony will take place on the south promenade of the pond at Emeriti Park, rain or shine, and will include a reading of names of those Ohio University community members who have passed away this year and a moment of silence for personal reflection.
