The website OhioHigherEd.org, operated by the University System of Ohio (USO) Board of Regents, has recently been updated and revamped. The new features provide even more information to students, parents, faculty, and staff.
The website has resources available for students, educators and businesses looking to collaborate with public universities in the state. It also offers visitors a chance to live chat with a representative for the USO about any questions they may have.
Chancellor Jim Petro also has a blog that is housed on the website.
According to Petro's June 8, 2011 blog entry, the student page features vital resources for Ohio university students.
"There, they can focus on planning, applying and paying for an education at Ohio’s public universities, community colleges and adult career centers," wrote Petro.
In the same entry, he shared how the new features will reflect the State University System of Ohio.
"Among the many other features of our new site, we’re pleased to partner with many of the public colleges and universities which make up the University System of Ohio to offer a snapshot of higher education in our state with the 'Featured Video' on our home page. In this one location, a visitor can begin to appreciate the kaleidoscope of post-secondary offerings in Ohio," Petro wrote.
