Computer Lab Reservations
The Computer Services Center (CSC) Lab A may be reserved for academic instruction. CSC Lab A contains 25 computers total (24 dual-boot student stations and one dual-boot instructor station connected to an overhead projector).
Policies & Guidelines - Reservations must be made at least 2 work days (48 hours excluding weekends and holidays) in advance of the reservation date. (Four weeks notice is recommended for higher chances that the desired reservation date will be available; six weeks notice is required if special software must be installed for the requested lab reservation.)
- The reserved space will be held for only 10 minutes past beginning of reservation time.
- The instructor/session leader is considered responsible for the area during reservation time.
- It is the instructor's responsibility to be aware of the available equipment and capabilities of that equipment.
- If a reservation is no longer needed, the reservation should be canceled as soon as possible.
Directions to CSC Lab A
To access CSC Lab A, enter the Computer Services Center building, proceed down the stairs, and then enter CSC computer lab through the double doors. Lab A is all the way in the back, on the right side (behind the glass wall).
Requesting a Lab Reservation
To request a CSC Lab A reservation, please contact Sarah Rist (rists@ohio.edu) by email. Please provide the following information when requesting a lab reservation:
- Reservation Date(s) and beginning & end times requested
- Class and section number
- College/Department name
- Instructor Name, Oak Email, & Phone Number
- Contact Name, Oak Email & Phone Number (if different from instructor)
- Number of stations needed
- Software needed
- Operating System (please specify Windows or Mac)
- Do attendees need to print?
If so, are they currently enrolled OU students? - Reason for using CSC lab (for example, your department doesn't have a lab, your department has a lab, but it's not available for this date and time, etc.)
