Scripps students' Donegal documentary to screen at Athens Film Festival

ATHENS, Ohio (March 27, 2013) — In the summer of 2012, twenty Scripps College students collaborated abroad for six weeks to produce four documentaries outlining cultural traditions within Donegal, Ireland. One of the documentaries produced, "Made in Donegal," will screen at the Athens Film Festival this April.
"Made In Donegal" is a documentary about the food culture in County Donegal, Ireland. It focuses on the local producers, buyers and advocates for the rebuilding of a sustainable food model in Donegal.
This documentary was written, shot and produced by six Ohio University students in the Scripps College of Communication: Alex Bolinger, Joey Buccini, Kelly Matousek, Matt Monachino, Amanda Olszewski and Sonya Paclob. Original music for the documentary is by Jeremy Howard and Steven Ostroske.
