Welcome to the Ohio University Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department website. The EHS Department is committed to supporting OHIO faculty, staff, and students by ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible campus.

Our experienced staff is composed of subject matter experts in occupational safety, biological and chemical safety, environmental protection, food and sanitation, and pest management. We offer a variety of training courses and materials that can be tailored to your needs, as well as technical consultation.
