PDP Workshop Collection

The PDP Workshop Collection offers in-depth active learning-based opportunities for OHIO faculty and staff to engage with and learn alongside practicing experts within the university.  These workshops allow for more nuanced discussion with university peers, provides for more networking opportunities across departments and planning units.  These workshops are facilitated by experts and leaders within Ohio University, ranging from Student Affairs, OIT, UHR, and beyond.

Landing Zone

This four-session workshop series provides participants with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by veteran students, GI Bill™ implications on course selection, discussion of PTSD and TBI impacts on learning, and resources to assist this special student population.

Transition to Supervision

This workshop explores a variety of topics that are particularly relevant for new or aspiring supervisors such as developing new skills, challenging and managing perceptions, navigating the legal landscape, locating resources and assistance, and discussing the numerous challenges often faced by supervisors.

This workshop focuses on understanding the connection between trust and credibility, identifying actions to build, rebuild, and sustain trust, and suggestions for making trust part of your leadership brand.
