OHIO women are invited to an afternoon of fellowship and scholarship in Cleveland this weekend.

People bring their sisters, friends, and older alumnae together for these events to support to the Bobcat network,” said Tyler Gagai, assistant director of external relations for the OHIO Alumni Association.

Last year’s fall brunch and auction hosted more than 70 attendees, and 136 items donated by alumnae were sold to support the scholarship.

To date, nearly 290 female freshmen and upperclassmen scholarships have been awarded.

The club, which received the 2014 Outstanding Chapter Award from the Association, offers a number of events throughout the year to promote networking among members. Annual events include the fall brunch and the Spring Scholarship Luncheon.
