March 13, 2017 : Basketball All-Conference Selections Feature Five Ohio University Lancaster Students


morganThe Ohio Regional Campus Athletic Conference (ORCC) has selected five area students from Ohio University Lancaster to the All-Conference Team.


First team honors went to Liberty Union High School graduate Morgan Kirkbride, who also earned her 2000th career point this season. Arjanna Knul, a Circleville High School graduate and Alton Frizzell, a Millersport High grad earned second team selections. Honorable mentions went to Lisa Meyer, a graduate of Nelsonville High School and David Justus, a Lancaster High School graduate.


 Arjanna“Ohio University Lancaster’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams had successful seasons and these five student athletes were a big part of that success,” said Jeff Whitehead, Athletic and Student Activities Director, “the all-conference recognition is well-deserved.”

Ohio University Lancaster Campus supports several athletic teams including men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's baseball, men's and women's tennis, golf, and women's softball. The Ohio Regional Campus Conference was founded in 1973 and is an independent sports organization that serves the State of Ohio's regional campuses. The ORCC has nine members and currently fields eight sports: women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's softball, women's tennis, men's baseball, men's tennis, and golf.
