Ohio University’s Community Service Leadership Council capped off a week of beautifying OHIO students’ home away from home with the 12th annual Athens Beautification Day, held on Sunday, April 22.
The largest day of community service in Athens County, this year’s Athens Beautification Day coincided with Earth Day and saw more than 800 members of the Ohio University and Athens communities join together to spruce up their collective home. For the fifth year, the event was organized by OHIO’s Community Service Leadership Council, a student organization dedicated to facilitating Bobcat engagement with non-profit organizations and community service projects in Southeast Ohio.
