Energy conservation work to take place in buildings across Athens Campus

During the next few months, Ohio University buildings on the Athens Campus will undergo work as part of the University's contract with Constellation Energy to reduce the usage of electricity, water, coal and gas.

Facilities Management recently notified the University community that work in various buildings will take place beginning Aug. 26 and lasting approximately 72 days. The work will involve the installation of dual-flush valves on toilets in the affected buildings. The valves will enable water conservation efforts.

Much of the work will take place after normal business hours. This schedule details the order in which work will take place. Anyone with questions is asked to call Facilities at 740-593-2727.
