Sexual Harassment and Other Sexual Misconduct Grievance Process

The Sexual Harassment and Other Sexual Misconduct Grievance Process will be used to adjudicate alleged violations of Ohio University Policy 03.004, which provides the rationale, basis, scope, and jurisdiction of the policy, as well as, relevant definitions. Further, Policy 03.004 details behaviors prohibited by the policy; gives information about reporting incidents of sexual harassment, other sexual misconduct, and retaliation; and provides other important information regarding Ohio University’s response to these prohibited behaviors. This process provides for a prompt, fair, and impartial investigation and resolution of allegations made against students, student organizations and groups, faculty members, administrators, staff members, and trustees and officers of Ohio University.  The Title IX Coordinator and the staff in University Equity and Civil Rights Compliance (ECRC) are responsible for the management and implementation of this process.
