The School of Music, in conjunction with the College of Fine Arts and the Office of Education Abroad of Ohio University, are delighted to offer a unique 2-week intensive, academic experience in Cuban culture, history and the people through the arts. Participants will be introduced to various topics, skills and techniques that enhance their understanding of indigenous and contemporary Cuban music and dance. Interaction with folkloric and popular artists, renowned educators from the University de la Havana, and the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional and others makes this experience a very rewarding educational experience.
